Architecture

Choose how Kadryn connects to your AI traffic.

Direct Ingest observes without forcing a proxy. Gateway adds real-time controls only to the traffic you choose.

Direct Ingest

Observe · enrich · attribute · analyze

  • Connect supported usage data
  • Add business context
  • Attribute and analyze costs

No mandatory proxy · no runtime blocking

Gateway

Configured real-time controls

OPTIONAL · SELECTED TRAFFIC ONLY

  • Apply configured limits and policies
  • Route only selected traffic
  • Keep controls explicit and scoped

Measurement & audit

Frequently asked questions

The answers you need before you move forward.

Do I need to route all production AI traffic through a proxy?

No. Direct Ingest supports observation, enrichment, and attribution without forcing all production traffic through a proxy. Gateway remains the optional path for configured runtime controls.

What is the difference between Direct Ingest and Gateway?

Direct Ingest observes and enriches usage without runtime blocking. Gateway can apply configured limits and policies only to the selected traffic that uses that control path.

Does a budget automatically block spend?

No. A budget supports monitoring, risk, and ownership. Active blocking requires a cap or policy that applies on the relevant configured control path.

How do you separate estimated and observed outcomes?

Kadryn keeps modeled or potential, applied, observed or measured, and workflow-confirmed states separate. An observed result does not prove causal ROI on its own.

What can I review before talking to Sales?

You can review product proof, architecture, security, data-processing scope, measurement guidance, pricing, and documentation without starting with a sales demo.
